Panama Introduces Beneficial Ownership Register

Panama has launched a private register of beneficial owners of Panamanian entities. Law No. 129, which sets out the legal framework for the establishment and regulation of a beneficial owner register, was approved on March 17, 2020 and became law on March 20, 2020.
